Micro and nano sizer
GEA Rhino High-pressure Homogenizers and Radial Colliders with Zero-Gasket execution option are for heavy duty industrial applications requiring high abrasion, adhesion and solvent resistance coming from challenging products (eg. Carbon, Cellulose, Industrial Bio cell disruption)

Whether dealing with abrasive or adhesive products or strong solvents and concentrations, GEA Rhino is equipped to handle pressures up to 2000 bar, setting a benchmark in the industry.
GEA Rhino is offered as both high-pressure homogenizer and high-pressure radial collider. The design includes option to eliminate all elastomeric and plastic seals including dynamic plunger seals that are typically sensitive to high pulsating pressure, solvents, and temperatures, thus enhancing operational reliability, reducing production downtime and maintenance frequency.
GEA Rhino is designed for heavy duty applications in the chemical industry, including products like conducting carbon (carbon black, graphite, graphene, carbon nanotubes (CNT)) slurry for battery production, Cellulose slurry for Nano Fibrillation, Industrial Bio cell disruption for biodegradable plastic production.
Main features and benefits
Zero-Gasket - No elastomeric or plastic gaskets (including dynamic plunger seals)
All metallic or Sintered seals
Truly aligned plunger with its seals system allows use of novel metal and advanced sintered material, without elastomers or plastic.
Open drive end
Modular Lightweight Piped discharge manifold
Feed system with Air operated double diaphragm pump (AODDP) and one dampening equalizer for each plunger

At GEA, our commitment to engineering for a better world fuels our pursuit of innovative solutions that enhance patient care and safety. One of our most promising ventures in recent years is aseptic spray drying – a technology that promises to revolutionize pharmaceutical manufacturing.
