
As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting business performance, and maintaining compliance within our Belgian entity. Your responsibilities will cover both operational reporting and strategic financial support.
Lead the budget and forecasting processes for the Belgian entity.
Prepare monthly financial reports in both local ERP systems and GEA’s CORE reporting system.
Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to entity management.
Manage cash flow and monitor cost structures, margins, inventory and WIP.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and internal financial guidelines.
Support cross-functional teams with financial advice and performance KPIs.
Contribute to the improvement of internal controls and working capital management.
Act as a key point of contact for external auditors and financial stakeholders.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (from leadership to auditors).
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
At least 3 years of experience in financial controlling or a similar role.
Proficiency with Excel and financial systems; experience with ERP and reporting tools is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex data clearly.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
A structured, detail-oriented approach with a sense of responsibility and initiative.
