The missing link between mixing and forming
GEA Batch2Flow is a unique technology that bridges the gap between mixing and forming. It automatically transports a mix from the mixer to the former, turning a batch process into an in-line process. With Batch2Flow, meat and meat replacement mixtures always reach the former in optimal condition.
Preparation is key when making formed products. A consistent mix of the ingredients is essential. The temperature and viscosity of the mix needs to be right as well. GEA Batch2Flow keeps the dough perfectly and safely within the mixer until the former needs it. It then moves the mixture in small portions seamlessly and rapidly along a conveyor system straight into the former. You don’t need trolleys or cooled storage rooms. The mixer controls portions as it loads the mix onto the conveyor. Temperature and viscosity are kept at the optimum level, so the mix reaches the former in perfect condition. Forming is more accurate. Waste and downtime are reduced.
Main applications include formable meat, poultry and meat replacement mixtures.
Safeguard quality of mix

There was a time when the phrases ‘non-alcoholic beer’ and ‘tastes good’ were seldom used together in the same sentence, particularly by consumers. But low-proof and alcohol-free beers have come a long way – many of them now refreshing drinks in their own right – thanks in no small part to technology from GEA.
